About Just Live-in Care
Just Live-in Care is a privately owned, family-run business, founded in 2020 by Michelle and Gary Johnson. We pride ourselves on being a boutique alternative to larger care providers, offering a more personal, attentive approach to live-in care.
With more than 50 years of experience between the three founding members, we know just how vital it is to get to know our customers as individuals. The team at Just Live-in Care provide a skilled, professional live-in care service regulated by the CQC to ensure peace of mind, respect and dignity at all times.

Dedicated relationship manager
Your personal Relationship Manager ensures your entire care package is fully managed. This includes the support and training of professional care experts, timely risk assessments, detailed care planning, regular reviews, and unannounced spot checks – everything essential to deliver safe, effective, and personalised care.
Real-time electronic care notes
Care notes are updated in real-time and monitored by your Relationship Manager. This acts as a vital second check, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and nothing is overlooked, supporting consistent, high-quality care.

With your permission, family members can access real-time care notes whenever they need to. This is especially valuable for loved ones who live far away, offering reassurance and transparency at every stage of your care.
Hospital passports

Harriet Johnson
Registered Care Manager
Harriet is the Just Live-in Care Registered Care Manager. She has 20 years experience in both the NHS and private sector having worked in hospital settings, care homes and domiciliary care. She has her Level 5 NVQ Award in Health & Social Care and has previous experience as Deputy Care Manager in a large residential home and as Care Manager for a substantial domiciliary care provider.
Harriet believes passionately that home is the best environment for people to feel safe, happy and to thrive. She considers live-in care to be the best there is, to offer bespoke support and one to one care really promotes wellbeing, choice and happiness. Simply put there is no place like home and a live-in carer offers the finest solution for those needing a little extra support.

Michelle Johnson
Director
Michelle has over 15 years of experience working in the care sector as Company Director and training & HR lead. She believes passionately in client choice and client voice. Being happy and very well cared for in later life is a right and something Michelle feels everyone deserves.
Aside from her work in the Company, Michelle also works as a sector Expert (Third Bridge) and offers consultancy for those new to the home care space. In 2022 she was a FINALIST at The Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care Awards in the Home Care Business Woman of the Year Award category!
Michelle was a convert to the impact of Live-in care after both her mother and father received such support. This allowed her and her wider family to enjoy time with her parents whilst allowing them to maintain their independence. It is this level of skill, professionalism and care that is the bedrock of Just Live-in Care.

Gary Johnson
Director
Gary too has over 15 years working in the domiciliary care space. Previously he was financial director for a substantial domiciliary care company. He is fully aware of the importance of ensuring the viability of a Company over the longer term to ensure sustainability and peace of mind for all clientele.
Gary is committed to providing safe, exemplary care, expecting the highest standards from all working within the Company. He is dedicated to streamlining processes to maximise efficiency and limiting unnecessary waste.

Tracy Wood
Relationship Manager
Tracy works as a Just Live-in Care Relationship Care Manager. Her role is to assist the Registered Care Manager in managing a small team of dedicated Care Experts in their support of our clients. Tracy has over 15 years experience working in domiciliary care. She is adept at building relations and has a strong desire to ensure things are done the ‘right way’, she is empathetic and takes time to listen. She holds a Level 3 NVQ Award in Health & Social Care and has previous experience as a Registered Care Manager for a substantial domiciliary care provider.
Tracy considers “Live in care to be the best option, as it allows individuals to receive personalised support in the comfort and familiarity of their own environment. I strongly feel building trust and meaningful connections with the customers and carers to be an important part of my role as a Relationship Manager, to ensure seamless customer centered care.”

Angus & Fergus
Furry Support Assistants
Angus and Fergus are five-year-old male Scottish Terriers and littermates. They are well-tempered and require only healthy meals, water, walks, cuddles, and attention.
With typical Scottie behaviour, a bit aloof, at times, but once comfortable, playful and quite cheeky. Both like to please. They become anxious about separation from each other. Fergus does anything for food, but Angus will not be bribed that way! Both are proud ambassadors of Just Live-in Care. Angus was featured in our recent TV advertisement.
